Official Troubleshooting Steps
Monitoring function for actuating the brake "Magazine cover (WAR axis)" has responded. At least one relay for activating the Z brake is defective. This monitoring occurs when the brake is released and clamped. Check the brake activation: Error while releasing the brake: Actuation for "Release brake" is registered. PLC input signal "Brake monitoring" is still registered. As soon as the brake is released, the PLC input signal "Brake monitoring" must signal signal state (0). Error while clamping the brake: Actuation "Release brake" was cancelled. PLC input signal "Brake monitoring" is not registered. As soon as the brake is no longer released, the PLC input signal "Brake monitoring" must have the signal state (1). Actuation "Release brake, magazine cover (WAR axis)" remains pending and the axis is kept under control. 1. Check the PLC input signal "Brake monitoring, magazine cover (WAR axis)". 2. Check actuation "Release brake, magazine cover (WAR axis)". 3. Check relay (optocoupler) for "Release brake actuation" and exchange, if necessary. 4. As soon as the malfunction has been remedied, switch off the machine control with the [Control OFF] key. 5. Turn on the machine control with the key [Control ON]. Message is cleared.
