Code 700749: Check limit switch: >Magazine place free (loading position)<

It was detected that the proximity switch "Tool correctly inserted" is signalling although the ultrasonic sensor "Magazine place vacant (loading position)" hasn't detected a tool at the loading position. It is not possible to move the tool magazine. The direction key indicator lights [traverse tool magazine] are flashing quickly. 1. Check whether the tool magazine is in position. The indicator lights [Traverse tool magazine] are permanently illuminated as soon as the magazine is in position. 2. Check the proximity switch "tool correctly inserted (loading position)" and the PLC input signal. 3. Check the ultrasonic sensor "magazine place vacant (loading position)" and the PLC input signal. Possible combinations: Tool removed: Magazine place free = [ 1 ] + tool correctly inserted = [ 0 ] Tool inserted: Magazine place free = [ 0 ] + tool correctly inserted = [ 1 ] 4. Once the malfunction has been remedied, the movement command for the tool magazine is enabled again.
