The automatic magazine test is for automatically checking the magazine chain for correctly inserted tools after various situations. The automatic check takes place when the following is true before a tool change: the tool loading flap and the protective door were open. Error messages Tool change Magazine test in progress. Please wait. Tool correctly stored in magazine? Service function M555 was active. M function M258 (start automatic magazine check) was output. The check starts immediately when the M function M258 is output. The magazine chain is automatically indexed and is checked for the tool being "present and correctly inserted" at the tool insertion place. Once the check is completed, the program continues automatically.
