The Chiron Siemens-Control CNC has triggered a critical Centric tensioner not released alarm. Immediate attention from a qualified operator or maintenance technician is required to prevent secondary damage to the equipment or spoiled parts during the manufacturing cycle. Always ensure standard safety and LOTO procedures are followed before accessing electrical cabinets.
Official Troubleshooting Steps
Actuation "Unclamp centric tensioner" is output. PLC input signal "Centric tensioner clamped" is still registered. The error has the following effect: Feed Stop No axis movements possible. Read disable Control reads no further program blocks into memory. If the sensor signals are correct within a monitoring period, the program run is continued. After the monitoring time has elapsed, the machine stops. 1. Check sensor "Centric tensioner clamped" and the PLC input signal. 2. Once the malfunction has been remedied, press [FEED START] key. Message is cleared. If the centric tensioner is in the machining position, the message applies to channel 1 and channel 3. If the centric tensioner is not in the machining position, the message only applies to channel 3.
