The Chiron Siemens-Control CNC has triggered a critical Warm-up cycle spindle necessary! Start cycle with <Jog> and <Spindle Start> key alarm. Immediate attention from a qualified operator or maintenance technician is required to prevent secondary damage to the equipment or spoiled parts during the manufacturing cycle. Always ensure standard safety and LOTO procedures are followed before accessing electrical cabinets.
Official Troubleshooting Steps
The main spindle requires a warm-up after being at a standstill for a longer time period. The warm-up time depends on how long the spindle has been at a standstill! Feed Stop and Spindle Stop as soon as M3 or M4 is programmed. A tool change is still possible. As long as the warm-up hasn't been done, an increased spindle speed (>800 rpm) is not possible. 1. Switch to manual mode. 2. Start spindle warm-up with the [SPINDLE START] key. NOTICE! Make sure the tool is suitable for the maximum speed. During the cycle, the spindle is operated for 5 minutes at 7500 rpm, and then for 5 minutes at 15000 rpm and finally for 5 minutes at 22500 rpm. If the programmed speed is changed, an alarm is given. The dwell times are also monitored, but no message is output.
