Cause: A teach pendant instruction was programmed to use a tool change equipment, but that tool was not attached to the arm. Remedy: Make sure that the proper tool is attached to the arm before attempting to use it. Tool changes are done with TPE macros. Make sure that a call to the correct macro is made before attempting the SPOT or BACKUP operation.
