Type of error: A — Operation (a wrong key was pressed or the machine was operated incorrectly) Stopped status: L — Operation continued Clearing procedure: S — Press clear key Display colour: Blue Cause: 1. Inhibiting operation (editing, erasing, renumber of work number and entry of names) has been performed for the edit- inhibiting program. 2. PROGRAM LOCK/ENABLE switch on the operating panel is set to the LOCK position. 3. An attempt has been made to carry out “TOOL NAME ORDER” operation on the TOOL DATA display while a tool remains set in the spindle. Action: 1. The operation concerned cannot be performed for the edit-inhibiting program (program management function). 2. Set the PROGRAM LOCK/ENABLE switch to the ENABLE position. 3. Remove the tool from the spindle, and then carry out the operation once again.
