If during machining a tool is being used for the first time, machining continues depending on PLC_MD 14510[6] Bit 4. a) PLC_MD 14510[6] Bit 4 = (1) (without monitoring initial use of a tool) b) PLC_MD 14510[6] Bit 4 = (0) (Feed Stop after initial use of a tool) Error messages Tool management Tool for the first time in use a) There is no monitoring or display when a tool is used for the first time. The machine continues machining immediately. b) Feed Stop and the attribute A of this tool is automatically set from 0 to 1. b) 1. Check the initial use of this tool. 2. Press [FEED START] or [CYCLE START] key at the same time. Message is cleared and the machining program can be continued. 3. The machining program will be processed until program end. (Program end with M02, M30 or change work area / table side) 4. Continuation depends on PLC_MD 14510[6] Bit 5. See 700255 0 0 WORKPIECE MACHINED WITH NEW TOOL.
