The Chiron Siemens-Control CNC has triggered a critical Fault flow monitor coolant low pressure alarm. Official Troubleshooting Steps
The coolant (flushing water) was switched off, but after the monitoring delay time elapsed, the PLC input signal "Flow control device coolant low pressure" is still at signal state (1). After switching off the coolant, the flow control device is monitored at signal state (0) after a short delay time. Error message appears immediately. Monitoring takes place as soon as no Rapid feed (G00) is active. Feed Stop / Spindle Stop 1. Check the setting of the flow control device and the coolant flow. 2. Check the PLC input signal "Flow control device coolant low pressure". 3. As soon as the malfunction has been remedied, press [FEED START] or [CYCLE START] Message is cleared.
