The Chiron Siemens-Control CNC has triggered a critical Max. clean water coolant level alarm. Immediate attention from a qualified operator or maintenance technician is required to prevent secondary damage to the equipment or spoiled parts during the manufacturing cycle. Always ensure standard safety and LOTO procedures are followed before accessing electrical cabinets.
Official Troubleshooting Steps
The float switches "Coolant level clean water MAX." and "Coolant level chip conveyor MAX." signal maximum at the same time (signal state = 0). The switch is evaluated with a delay time (Txx). The PLC input signal "Coolant level clean water MAX." is not registered. Feed STOP and Spindle STOP The lifting pump, the 1st coolant pump, the 2nd cooling pump, bed rinsing and the rinsing pump are immediately switched off so that the system doesn't overflow. 1. Check filling level in the clean water tank. 2. Check the float switch "Coolant level clean water MAX" and the PLC input signal. 3. As soon as the malfunction has been remedied, the message is automatically cleared.
