Always ensure standard safety and LOTO procedures are followed before accessing electrical cabinets.
Official Troubleshooting Steps
A The safety relay for "Protective door monitoring OK" was switched off, but the feedback circuit "Monitoring protective doors safety relay" is still missing. When the safety relay is deactivated, the feedback circuit must signal signal state [1] (check). B When the safety relay is activated, the feedback circuit must signal signal state [0] (check). For A It is not possible to unlock the protective door. It is not possible to activate the safety relay. After switching off the control, the protective door is unlocked after 10 seconds. For B Feed Stop and Spindle Stop are output in "AUTO" mode. It is not possible to unlock the protective door. After switching off the control, the protective door is unlocked after 10 seconds. 1. Check the feedback circuit and the PLC input signal "Monitoring protective doors safety relay". (It could be that the relay is defective) 2. Exchange defective relay. 3. As soon as the malfunction is remedied, press the following key: [RESET] Message is cleared. Feedback circuit monitoring takes 0.5 seconds.
