Cause: The backup state spot welding instruction BU=* was used before a weld, but the backup state was in the open (BU=O) position at the time the instruction was executed. Note: BU=* indicates that the backup state remains unchanged from the last position. To use this command before a weld, the previous backup state must be BU=C (closed position). Remedy: Make sure that the backup state is closed when using the BU=* command. Either change BU=* to BU=C, or insert a BACKUP=CLOSE statement before this statement.
