Issue Description & Safety Warning
The Fanuc R-30i Series Robot Controller has triggered a critical Chain 1 abnormal %x,%x alarm. Immediate attention from a qualified operator or maintenance technician is required to prevent secondary damage to the equipment or spoiled parts during the manufacturing cycle. Always ensure standard safety and LOTO procedures are followed before accessing electrical cabinets.
Official Troubleshooting Steps
Cause: 1. A failure occurred in chain 1 (+24V)/chain2(0V) of emergency stop circuit. 2. There is a possibility that the specification of the teach pendant is incorrect when occurring immediately after turning on of the power supply. For instance, this might occur if the teach pendant of non-RIA/CE specification is connected with the controller of the RIA/CE specification. Remedy: 1. In the above case 2, connect a correct teach pendant. 2. Confirm the history of the alarm on the Alarm Log screen. If occurring with either 'Operator panel E-stop', 'Teach pendant E-stop' or 'Deadman switch released', the emergency stop button is released, and it presses again. For deadman switch, the deadman switch is gripped once and it released again. Chain abnormal state was released if occurring SRVO-236 'Chain failure is repaired'. Release e-stop button, deadman and press reset button. 3. If this alarm cannot be reset, refer to the Controller Maintenance Manual for more information. After these measures, the release operation of chain abnormal state is necessary. a. Press the emergency stop button on the teach pendant or operator panel once and release it. b. Press F4 'RES_1CH' on the Alarm Active screen. c. Press RESET.
