The Fanuc R-30i Series Robot Controller has triggered a critical Over max motor torque value alarm. Immediate attention from a qualified operator or maintenance technician is required to prevent secondary damage to the equipment or spoiled parts during the manufacturing cycle. Always ensure standard safety and LOTO procedures are followed before accessing electrical cabinets.
Official Troubleshooting Steps
Cause: The motor torque required to achieve the pressure specified in the pressure schedule or pressure instruction exceeds the Max Torque value specified on the Servogun SETUP screen. Remedy: 1. Reduce the Pressure value. 2. Check Pressure Calibration data. 3. Calibrate Pressure again if the data is incorrect. 4. Increase the Max Motor Torque value on the Servo Gun General SETUP screen, if possible. Note: motor torque value on the General SETUP screen can be regarded as a fractional percentage of the maximum allowable torque. The screen will not allow this value to be set larger than amp + motor rating.
