Official Troubleshooting Steps
The probe was not correctly switched on with the "Probe On (spindle probe) ( M94 )" function. Signal sequence for switch-on operation was incorrect. Probe was already directed out during switch-on. After the probe was switched on, a malfunction occurred during the signal exchange between the transmitter (probe) and receiver (OMI). The error has the following effect: Feed Stop No axis movements possible. Read disable Control reads no further program blocks into memory. 1. Check probe (setting, batteries, function, etc.). 2. Check interface (OMI) (contamination, switch setting, connection, etc.) 3. Check the following signals: PLC output signal "Enable measuring device". PLC input signal "Probe OK". PLC input signal "Probe STATUS". CNC input signal " HDI0 (F122.0)". 4. Press [RESET] key. Message is cleared. Error messages Measuring Probe malfunction (spindle probe)
