The probe was not correctly switched on with the "Probe On (table probe) ( M187 )" function. Signal sequence for switch-on operation was incorrect. Probe was already directed out during switch-on. The error has the following effect: Feed Stop No axis movements possible. Read disable Control reads no further program blocks into memory. 1. Check probe. 2. Check interface (MI8) (switch setting, connection, etc.) 3. Check the following signals: PLC output signal "Enable measuring device". CNC input signals (SKIP) 4. Press [RESET] key.
