The Chiron Siemens-Control CNC has triggered a critical Flow monitor rinse fixture (1) alarm. Immediate attention from a qualified operator or maintenance technician is required to prevent secondary damage to the equipment or spoiled parts during the manufacturing cycle. Always ensure standard safety and LOTO procedures are followed before accessing electrical cabinets.
Official Troubleshooting Steps
The coolant (rinse fixture) was switched on, but after the monitoring delay time elapsed, the PLC input signal "Flow control device (rinse fixture (1)" is still at signal state (0). After switching on the coolant, the flow control device is monitored at signal state (1) after a short delay time. Feed Stop Spindle Stop 1. Check the PLC output signal and the control for the bed rinsing pump. 2. Check the setting of the flow control device and the coolant flow. 3. Check the PLC input signal "Flow control device, rinse fixture (1)". 4. As soon as the malfunction is remedied, press one of the following keys: [CYCLE START] [FEED START] Message is cleared. The delay time variable for monitoring during switch-on is set to 5 seconds by default. Flow control device (rinse fixture 1): DB181.DBD2548 in ms If there is no flow control device in the system, this monitoring function can be deactivated with a machine parameter. Without flow control device (rinse device): MD 14512[29] bit 2 = 0 Without flow control device coolant low pressure: MD 14512[29] bit 3 = 1
