Parameters: %1 = Channel number %2 = Block number, label %3 = Binary constant Definitions: When initializing or allocating the value of a variabl e of type STRING more than 8 bits have been found as binary constant. DEF STRING[8] OTTO = "ABC'H55''B000011111'DEF" Reaction: Correction block is reorganized. Interface signals are set. Alarm display. Remedy: Press the NC Stop key and select the function "C orrection block" with the softkey PROGRAM CORRECT. The correction pointer positions on the incorrect block. In the window for the alarm message, the first charac ters of the binary const ant are always displayed although the surplus bit might not be located until furt her on. Therefore, the complete binary constant must always be checked for an incorrect value. Program Continuation: Clear alarm with NC ST ART or RESET key and continue the program.
