Issue Description & Safety Warning
The Chiron Siemens-Control CNC has triggered a critical Tool holder soiled (1) --> cleaning necessary. alarm. Immediate attention from a qualified operator or maintenance technician is required to prevent secondary damage to the equipment or spoiled parts during the manufacturing cycle. Always ensure standard safety and LOTO procedures are followed before accessing electrical cabinets.
Official Troubleshooting Steps
The tool was clamped during the tool change, but the tool holder is not yet correctly positioned in the spindle. Possible cause: There is a chip between the tool holder and the spindle takeup. When a tool is changed in automatically, it is checked every time whether the current actual value (analogue voltage of the "Tool clamped monitoring") is in the range of the reference value of the tool. This error message is output for every spindle with its own error number. The number in parentheses designates the number of the spindle. Depending on what spindle triggered the error, another key will flash. After an unsuccessful attempt at clamping the tool correctly, the machine moves to a "cleaning position" and stops with "Feed Stop". LED of the [TOOL UNLOCKING] key is flashing. Tool must be removed from the spindle manually. The tool holder and the spindle take-up must be cleaned. Protective equipment: Protective gloves The program does not have to be terminated. 1. Open protective door. 2. Hold onto tool. NOTICE! The tools must be held firmly. Observe safety precautions. 3. Press the flashing [TOOL UNLOCKING] key. Tool is removed from the spindle. 4. Remove the tool from the spindle. 5. Clean the tool holder and the spindle take-up. 6. Press the [TOOL UNLOCKING] key and keep it pressed. 7. Insert tool in the spindle. 8. Release the [TOOL UNLOCKING] key. With this, the tool is clamped. 9. Close the protective door. 10. Press [FEED START] key.
